Job Training & Safety Program

Workplace safety is vitally important to municipal utilities. IAMU offers a wide range of education and training opportunities on workplace safety topics. Over 100 cities belong to IAMU safety clusters working with nearby communities to provide a safe work environment.

When a city belongs to an IAMU safety cluster, it can send as many employees as it wants to the different classes offered by the cluster. Due to the geographically determined clusters, all training opportunities are within a convenient travel distance.
