Gas Utility Calendar of Annual Filings

Filings and notices that are due periodically or have no fixed deadline appear at the bottom of the calendar.

Federal filings must also be submitted to the Iowa Utilities Board.

All municipal gas and electric utilities are required to file.  This report is due January 1 of every even-numbered year starting in 2012.  IAMU works with its members to file a joint report.

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

Physical natural gas buyers and sellers must complete and file the Form No. 552 annually providing their "reportable" natural gas purchases or sales are equal to or greater than 2.2  trillion Btus in the reporting year.

National Pipeline Mapping System, as required by the Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) Must verify accuracy of your utility's data at least once every 12 months.  Required for municipally owned gas utilities with gas transmission pipelines.
