Storm Water Phase II

Reducing Impacts from Storm Water Discharges

Storm Water Phase II regulates storm water discharges from two categories:

  • Municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s), including medium and small MS4s and MS4s in urbanized areas not previously regulated; and
  • Construction activity disturbing between 1 and 5 acres.

The resources listed below are designed to assist all communities in complying with the specific rules and requirements of the new regulations.  However, many of the practices described can be of benefit for general community development and environmental protection.
