The Iowa
Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU) is seeking responses for
our 2012 Request for Proposal (RFP) for energy efficient lighting
products for residential use, such as CFLs and LED lighting
technology. The full details are outlined in our 2012 CFL &
LED RFP, which is attached for your consideration. The
purpose of this RFP is to provide our 545 IAMU member utilities with
an opportunity to collectively purchase high quality CFLs and LED
lights at a fixed price and to achieve economies of scale via the
collective size of our order (on an annual basis) and through the
resulting competitive unit pricing. Thank you for your time
and we look forward to your response by Thursday, May 24, 2012 by
5pm (CST).
